The Prestidigitator is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that originally appeared in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation. It is a humanoid monster cloaked from head to toe in a grey robes.

They fulfill the same role as the enemy of the same name from the original Dragon Quest, being the first enemy to be encountered that can cast spells, but they have a different design. After many years, they made a reappearance in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
