Pink pine is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a delicate and beautiful branch of pink wood that is used as a crafting material.

Dragon Quest X[edit]
Pink pine is used as a material for crafting weapons with an equipment level from 42-50. It can be purchased from a material shop for 360 gold or picked up from sparkly spots. Starting with Version 5.0 of the game, it can be dropped by monsters as well, including Vicious treefaces and Vicious magic marionettes.

Pink pine can be picked up from sparkly spots at Cobblestone, the Cobblestone Tor, the Heliodor Region, the Manglegrove, the Emerald Coast, the Gallopolis Region, Laguna di Gondolia, the Costa Valor, and the Champs Sauvage. It can be purchased from the south roving emporium in the Gallopolis Region and the north roving emporium in the Champs Sauvage for 75 gold. Stump chumps have a 1⁄16 chance of dropping it. It can be sold for 18 gold.
