Silkblossom is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a plant yielding fine silk that is used as a crafting ingredient, particularly for making fine clothing.

Dragon Quest X[edit]
Silkblossom is used extensively as a material for crafting various pieces of clothing, robes, and hats. It can be purchased from a material store for 240 gold, picked up from sparkly spots, or dropped by certain monsters such as Rottontails.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]
Silkblossom can be purchased for 1,000 gold from the roving emporiums in the Dundrasil Region, Sniflheim, as well as the Manglegrove and the Last Bastion item shop during the second act. It can be received from sparkly spots in Puerto Valor, the Dundrasil Region, Insula Occidentalis, Insula Borealis, Insula Orientalis, the Sniflheim Region, the Snærfelt, the Arborian Highlands, the First Forest, and the Laguna di Gondolia - Whale Way Station. Silkblossom is also dropped by Bite bulbs, Rottontails, and Iron maidens. It is used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

Silkblossom can be collected from plants on the Maneland and the Hinterquarters. It is used for making drinks at the canteen or for scouting monsters.
