Elemental Family (Japanese Katakana: エレメント Romanji: Eremento ) refers to the monsters Dragon Quest series that are formed mainly by elements: Fire, Water, Wind or Earth. Usually they have a degree of intangibility to their appearances, and haunt areas similar to their elemental type (E.g. Live lava are found around volcanoes, firn fiends in tundra, etc.).
