The Iron Helmet is a piece of headwwear which is common in several Dragon Quest games. It is mid-level headgear often seen during the middle stages of games in the main series.

The iron helmet has a defence bonus of +6. It can only be worn by the Hero and can be purchased at Tantegel, Tuhn, Beran, Osterfair, and Wellgarth for 3,150 gold.

The iron helmet has a defence bonus of +16. It can be equipped by the Hero, Warriors, Clerics, and Sages.They can be bought for 2,000 gold in Assaram and sold for 750 gold.
