The mystifying mixture is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. When used in battle it attempts to confuse one enemy. It can also be used as an alchemy ingredient.

Mystifying mixture makes its first appearance in the series. It has a chance to inflict confusion on a single enemy and is consumed upon use, having the same effect as the Fuddle spell.
