The bunny ears are a piece of headwear appearing in the Dragon Quest series that first showed up in Dragon Quest VI. It is usually restricted to female characters and allows them to dress like bunny girls.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]
The bunny ears have a defence bonus of +15 and can only be equipped by female Merchants and Gadabouts. They only appear in remake versions of the game. They are not sold in any shop, but one pair can be found in the third stage of the Immigrant Town and Damdara.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
The bunny ears have a defence bonus of +20 and a style bonus of +15. They can be equipped by Milly, Ashlynn, Lizzie, and the Slime companions. Bunny ears can be purchased from Weaver's Peak for 750 gold and sold for 562 gold. They are also dropped by Ne'er-do-wells.
If the bunny ears are worn along with the bunny suit and fishnet stockings, they provide a +30 style bonus, and a +50 bonus if the silver platter is equipped, as well.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The bunny ears have a defence and style bonus of +15. They can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. One pair can be found in the Grotta del Sigillo in the present and they are also sold in Pilgrim's Perdition for 750 gold. Just as in the previous game, if the bunny ears are worn along with the bunny suit and fishnet stockings, they provide a +30 bonus style for the Excellence Grading Organisation and a whopping +50 if the silver platter is equipped, as well.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The bunny ears have a defence rating of 14. It can only be worn by Jessica. If worn with the bunny suit and fishnet stockings, Jessica's appearance is changed to a bunny girl. Bunny ears cannot be purchased in any shop, but they can be sold for 450 gold.
