The bronze shield is a recurring shield in the Dragon Quest series which made its first appearance in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation. It is a low-level shield made out of beaten bronze plates.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]
The Bronze shield has a Defence bonus of +7. It can be equipped by the Hero, Warriors, Priests, Merchants, Thieves, and Sages. However, the Sage loses the ability to equip it in remakes. It can be purchased for 250 gold coins (180 in the NES Version) from Romaria, Khoryv, Asham, and Theddon and sold for 187 (135 in the NES Version). It can also be dropped by Crabber dabber doos. One can be found in the Skyfell Tower in s of the game.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
The Bronze shield has a defence bonus of +11 and a Style bonus of +7, and can be equipped by the Hero, Carver, Nevan, Amos, and Terry. It is sold for 370 in Somnia.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The Bronze shield has a defence bonus of +11 and a style bonus of +7. It can be equipped by Hero, Kiefer, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. It can be purchased in Frobisher in both the past and present for 470 gold coins and sold for 235 gold coins.
