The Prickly prankster is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI. It is a demonic jester armed with a pair of deadly sai.

Characteristics

Prickly pranksters poke and slash with their sai swords and knock back enemies with Gust Slash and various other slashes such as Flame Slash and Kacrackle Slash, grinning gruesomely as they do so, since they love to slice into their enemies' flesh. They are dressed in blue and purple jester's garb with pink rounded hose and have a singular red eye that pokes out of their cap and bells hat. These monsters are infamous for being summoned by Murdaw in the midst of the battle against him, drawing out an already painful fight.
