The Whizzard is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV.
It is a low-ranking priest of hell that can call forth other monsters in battle.
Characteristics[edit]
Whizzards are squat Undead spellcasters with orange skin, prominent pink brows, and solid white eyes. They have light cyan-coloured scales and fins around their faces and their bottom canine fangs poke out of their mouths. The Whizzards wear turquoise robes with grey collars and hats, carrying long staves taller than themselves topped with a cyan ring. In remake versions of IV, the Whizzard's attire was change to all grey and their staves became copper-coloured and topped with an iron ring. Their magic is limited to a simple wind spell, though their true strength lies on calling upon other monsters to assist them.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Whizzard appears as a B-rank monster of the Undead family as part of the limited True Dragon Quest IV event. It can be scouted from Chapter 2, Episode 3: Underground Reunion of the event quests at any difficulty and it can participate in Healie's Battle Road as a party member.
