The Fishnet stockings are a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared in Dragon Quest VI. They can only be worn by female characters.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen'Edit
The fishnet stockings are an accessory that increases defence by 8 and can only worn by female characters. One set can be found in Dunplundrin and another in Endor behind a door that requires the magic key. The stockings can be sold for 900 gold, but it is not recommended to do so as there is a limited amount in the game. They only appear in the remakes.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of RevelationEdit
The fishnet stockings have a defense bonus of +5 and a style bonus of +40. Only Milly and Ashlynn can equip them. They can be purchased for 3,200 gold in a well in the Real World and in Greedmore Valley and sold for 2,400 gold. If the fishnet stockings are worn with a bunny suit, bunny ears, and silver platter for the Best-Dressed Contest at the Chateau de Sass, they provide a +50 bonus to Style.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten PastEdit
The fishnet stockings have a defense bonus of +5 and a style bonus of +10. They can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. Fishnet stockings can be purchased from the Casino for 400 tokens or won as a prize from the Lucky Panel. One set can be found in Nottagen in the present. Once again, if the fishnet stockings are worn along with the bunny suit, bunny ears, and silver platter when being ranked by the Excellence Grading Organisation for Style, they provide a +50 bonus to Style.

The fishnet stockings increase Jessica and Red's defence by +8. A pair is the reward for exchanging 28 mini medals with Princess Minnie, and they are also dropped by ice queens at a 1/64 rate in all versions of the game and by sirens at a 1/64 rate in the Nintendo 3DS port. Jessica's appearance will change if she has the stockings equipped along with the bunny suit and bunny ears.
