Ewwnicorns are equine monsters that first appeared in Dragon Quest VI. They have made regular appearances in the Monsters series of games and other spinoffs in the series.
Characteristics[edit]
Ewwnicorns are pallid parodies of traditional unicorns, sporting teal, ghostly eyes and fiery manes. Their golden hooves match their horns. Sometimes they spend turns trying to shove enemies out of the area, sending them right back to the wagon and put of action. They use healing magic to help keep themselves healthy. It is said to be able to distinguish between good and evil with its eyes.

Trivia[edit]
- The ewwnicorn's pose was changed for the Nintendo DS remake of VI to account for the idle animations given to all monsters, likely to prevent it from looking like it is galloping in mid-air. This makes it and the mythsteed two of the few monsters to have their battle poses changed, along with the prism peacock and related colour pallets.
