The bronze shield is a recurring shield in the Dragon Quest series which made its first appearance in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation. It is a low-level shield made out of beaten bronze plates.

It can be purchased for 250 gold coins (180 in the NES Version) from Romaria, Khoryv, Asham, and Theddon and sold for 187 (135 in the NES Version). It can also be dropped by Crabber dabber doos. One can be found in the Skyfell Tower in s of the game.
