Evasive Impulse is a monster trait that gets the blood pumping when the possessor is seriously wounded, increasing it's swiftness.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]
Evasive Impulse increases the agility of the weakened monster by 80% for 4~7 turns, and will also increase it's chance to dodge physical blows. This speedy boost rarely activates in normal battles but will always trigger in multiplayer, happening once per bout in both cases.
Evasive Impulse is naturally learned by the following monsters of any size:
- Bag o' tricks
- Bambooligan
- Bongo fandango
- Box slime
- Mecha-mynah
- Mortoad
- Ornery onion
- Phantom fencer
- Rotten cotton
- Shivery shrubbery
- Snipevine
- Sugar baddie
