The Orc chieftain is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest II.
It is a porcine spear-wielding beastman with golden fur.
Characteristics[edit]
The orc chieftain wears simple purple clothing tied with a rope belt and it wields a long spear with a purple shaft. Mimicing human society, the chief of a tribe has heavier pockets than his plebeian charges. Roast this boar for some quick cash! These orcs have also gained the ability to cast healing magic on themselves and their allies.

Dragon Quest X[edit]
Reappearing after a long hiatus, it is first fought in the base game and later fought in the False Renshinda. It can cast Moreheal, use Multithrust and Feel the Burn, as well as block enemy attacks and spells with its spear.

This monster does not have a vicious, nor a malicious variant.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Orc chieftain appears as a B-rank monster of the Beast family that can be scouted normally from any banner. It can participate in the Brownie, Gremlin, and Dora-in-Grey's Battle Roads as a party member.
