The Slimecicle is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It is a Slime variant monster introduced in Dragon Quest X.

Characteristics[edit]

Slimecicles are a subspecies of the Shell slimes that had begun to live in frozen habitats instead of tropical ones. These Slimes have turned white due to the exposure to low temperatures, and their eyes have become red. Their shells were formed from absorbing the moisture in their habitat over the course of several years. Their affinity for the cold has granted them the ability to cast high level ice magic on opponents.
