The mirror armour is a recurring suit of armor in the Dragon Quest series. It typically reflects magic back to the caster 33.3% of the time, unless noted below.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]
The mirror armour has a defence bonus of +80, and may be worn by the Hero, the prince of Gotha, and Tuppence.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
The mirror armour provides +95 defense, a style bonus of +50, and may be worn by the Hero, Terry, Amos, and Goowain. When worn along with the silver shield, the character doing so will be granted a +40 style bonus in the Best-Dressed Contest.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The armour has the same stats as in the previous game and can be equipped by the Hero and Aishe. It can be obtained by playing Lucky Panel in the casino of Buccanham.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The mirror armour has a defence bonus of +92. It can be worn by the Hero and Angelo, and has a 20% chance to reflect spells. This rate will increase to 33.3% when either character also equips the mirror shield.
