The dragon claws are recurring weapons in the series. Despite the name and design similarities, they did not share the bonus damage effect seen in the dragonsbane until the tenth game in the series.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]

The dragon claws were added in the 1996 remake and are the reward for giving a total of 80 mini medals to the collector beneath Aliahan. They increase attack by +85, and can be equipped by Martial artists and Thieves. Unless the player has excavated the golden claws from the depth of the Pyramid north of Isis, the dragon claws will be the first available upgrade to the iron claws paltry +30 attack.
