The iron claw, is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise. It is a mid-level weapon and is often one of the first weapons that martial artists can use exclusively.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +25. It can only be equipped by Martial Artists and can be purchased at Khoryv for 870 gold.
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +38. It can only be wielded by Alena and Psaro. It can be bought for 1,500 gold in Endor and sold for 1,125 gold.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +30. It can only be wielded by Debora, Saber, and Jailcat. It can be purchased for 550 gold.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
The iron claw can be bought for 700 gold in Amor, Port Haven, Wellshire, Somnia, and Scrimsley and sold for 525 gold. it has an attack bonus of +21 and a style bonus of +15. Carver, Amos, and Goowain can equip it. Silencing rams, Lesser demons, Jumping jackals and Grrrgoyles can drop them.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +21 and a style bonus of +15. It can only be equipped by Ruff. It can be bought for 920 gold at Pilgrim's Perdition and sold for 460 gold. One can be found in the Automaton Stronghold in the present. Iron claws can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino near Pilgrim's Rest.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
The iron claw has an attack bonus of +55. It can only be equipped by Morrie and he joins the party with it equipped. It only appears in the 3DS version of the game. The iron claw can be upgraded into the fire claw in the Alchemy Pot by combining it with a flametang boomerang.
