The staff of sentencing is recurrent rod in the Dragon Quest series, being either a one-handed or two-handed staff imbued with the fury of the Goddess to punish evildoers.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]

The staff has an attack bonus of +35 (+37 in the remakes), and can be wielded by Priests and Sages. It casts Woosh when used as an item in battle. It can be purchased with 2,700 Gold coins in Mur, Manoza, the Immigrant town, Tantegel, Domdora, and is sold for 2,025.
