The Sham hatwitch is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest X. It is a diminutive boar monster that wears a big witch's hat.
Characteristics
Sham hatwitches are piglet-like monsters. They have brown fur covering their all their bodies except the snout; they also have little white fangs beneath it. Sham hatwitches wear a big, wide-brimmed beige hat with jagged brown patterns on it that resembles a growling monster. They have black eyes that are normally obscured by their big hats. The sham hatwitches tend to have a particular affinity for fire magic and can even breathe out fiery breath from the mouths on their hats.
