Choker: Difference between revisions
PaladinLethe (talk | contribs) (Changed item name information. Item was titled as "Death Necklace" with "Choker" and "Cursed Necklace" as past translations. In reality, "Death Necklace" was the original NES localization and "Choker" has been used in every localization since. "Cursed Necklace" was never used in any localization for this item, at least in the actual games, though for some reason it seems to incorrectly persist in a variety of online resources for the first game..) |

Dragon Quest Walk
The choker can be received as a reward during the Dragon Quest I event. Unlike its original appearance, the choker has a defence bonus of +5 and increases the wearer's resistance to instant death effects by 5%.
Captain N: The Game Master
The Cursed necklace turns the wearer into a target for the legendary Golden Dragon. It's placed on Simon Belmont by The Dragonlord as a means of getting rid of him and The N Team.
Simon was able to remove it through the use of some Fairy water, and tossed it onto The Dragonlord, who was forced to destroy the dragon as a result.
