The Titan belt, also known as the Weightlifter's belt, is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series which first appeared in the Super Famicom version of Dragon Quest III. In its original appearance, it gave a boost to the wearer's Resilience, but in later games in the series, it increases the wearer's Attack instead.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]
The Weightlifter's belt has a Resilience bonus of +15, changes the wearer's Personality to Tough cookie, and can be equipped by all vocations. However, like all accessories that boost Resilience, it will only affect the wearer's growth rates when leveling up as the extra Resilience is not calculated to the wearer's max HP.
In the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color versions of the game, the Weightlifter's belt can be found in the third Treasures n' Trapdoors track near the Castle of the Dragon Queen and the Shrine of Shackles and another in the final track at Jipang. The Titan belt has an Attack bonus of +10 and can be equipped by all characters. They can be purchased at the Casino in Pickham by exchanging 1,500 tokens. One can be found in a treasure chest requiring the Magic Key on the world map in the Arcadia Region and another can be found in the item shop at Arcadia behind a door that requires the Ultimate key to open. Titan belts can be dropped by Cockateers, Golems, Icikillers, Jackal rippers, and Skeleton soldiers.
