Increases attack by +70, and can only be equipped by Warriors. It can be purchased in Kol and the Immigrant town for 9,500 gold. The war hammer only appears in remake versions of the game.
Dragon Quest V
The war hammer has an attack bonus of +60, and can be equipped by Sancho along with monsters such as the Brownie. Available for 6,500 at Lofty peak.
Dragon Quest VI
Increases attack by +64 and style by +19, and Amos, Carver, Lizzie, and Terry can equip it. Costs 12,000 at Mt. Snowhere.
