The Mummy is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest II. It is an undead monster covered in bandages that despises the living.
Characteristics[edit]
The typical Mummy and a Mummy boy look very similar, although the standard Mummy has a blue hue in its mouth. Beginning with the Super Famicom remake of the third game, the bandages that cover mummies have have a slight tint of purple to better distinguish the two. Underneath their coverings, they appear to have pitch-black skin and their eyes glow yellow.
