Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation

It is found in Poseidon's Palace, thought the Ultimate Key is required. It can also be bought for 14,000 gold coins in Felonia or sold for 10,500 gold coins. Lastly, Thriller waves and Killer waves drop them 1/256 of the time.

The Watermaul wand has an Attack bonus of +74 and a Style bonus of +42. It can be equipped by the Hero, Maribel Mayde, and Sir Mervyn. In the PS1 version, if used as a tool in battle, it uses the Tsunami skill. However, in the 3DS version, it was upgraded to cast the Coral Grief spell in battle, due to the real-life tragedy of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
It can be purchased from the Den of the Dwarves in the present for 14,000 gold coins and sold for 7,000 gold coins. One can also be found in the Den of the Dwarves in the past in the treasure room after lighting The Beacon.
