Equinox is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It first appeared as a grotto boss in Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies but was later regulated as an enemy.
Characteristics[edit]
The Equinox is based on the mythological Ki-rin (麒麟), a fabled horse with the head and scales of a dragon.
