The dragontail whip is a recurring Whip weapon in the Dragon Quest series.
It is typically a mid-level weapon and, like all other Whips, is designed to inflict damage to a single group of enemies.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]
The dragontail whip was added in the 1996 remake and has an Attack bonus of +52. It only appears in remake versions of the game and can be equipped by the Hero, Warriors, Thieves, Gadabouts, and Sages.
In the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color versions of the game, the whip is received as a prize for completing the third T'n'T track, as well as from a treasure chest in the fourth. However, from the smartphone versions onward the dragontail whip is obtained as the reward for turning in 70 Mini medals to the collector in Aliahan. It can be sold for 4,950 gold coins.
