The flail of destruction (はかいのてっきゅう, Iron ball of destruction), also known as the destructiball and the wreck whip, is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest series. It is often one of the strongest weapons, if not the strongest itself, in the game and can attack all enemies. It is often classified as a whip, but later in the series, flails became their own separate weapon type.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest III[edit]

In the remakes, the destructiball has an attack bonus of +135 and can hit all enemies. It can be equipped by the Hero, Warriors, Martial Artists, Thieves, and Sages. One can be found in the bonus dungeon, while others can be obtained from the fifth Pachisi track at Zipangu. In the mobile versions, there is only one available in the game.
