The Wight priest is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VIII.
It is an Undead priest with powerful magic at its disposal.
Characteristics[edit]
Wight priests are zombified clerics that have been reanimated to continue to serve their evil masters. What remaining skin they have has turned into a sickly shade of green, their eyes glowing in their sunken skulls. They wear tattered robes and a mitre colored in different shades of blue and indigo with gold borders, leather boots, as well as a jeweled ring on their right hand and a gold bracelet on their left. The priests carry scepters topped with cracked skulls that they use to channel their spells. They have mastered a variety of different magic, often having the ability to bring back other fallen monsters back from the hereafter and can summon undead minions to serve them.
