The Ersatz Estark is a monster vocation that is available in Dragon Quest VII. As the name suggests, it is superficially similar but unrelated to the infamous Emperor of Hell.

Description[edit]

The Ersatz Estark is a purple variant of the Slaughtomaton, being a powerful mechanical monster with a fearsome demonic face that wields a pair of swords. This vocation offers moderate to sharp boosts in all categories and drops in none of them. Upon mastering the vocation, characters will gain a strong resistance to all status ailments and elements.

Requirements[edit]

In the Nintendo 3DS version, it became possible to acquire an Ersatz Estark Heart as a reward by creating a Traveller's Tablet with one as a boss and defeating one.
