The Cave to Rhone is the largest dungeon in Dragon Quest II. It is also the penultimate dungeon in the game. It is located in the south central region of Expanded Alefgard and accessible only via Travel Gate.
Overview
The Cave to Rhone is known for being the most difficult dungeon in the game due to its length, the strong enemies within, and the existance of pitfalls and infinite loops.
The cave is only accessible via a travel gate in Beran requiring the Jailers Key. To open the cave, the Eye of Malroth must be used next to the entrance which is disguised as an impassable mountain tile.
