Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland RETRO (ドラゴンクエストモンスターズ テリーのワンダーランドRETRO) is an enhanced port of the original Dragon Quest Monsters. It was released in Japan on September 17, 2019 for the Nintendo Switch and on November 7 of the same year for smartphones.
Differences from the original[edit]
- Ability to play in monochrome or in color.
- Many different DQM-themed backgrounds that can be changed at will.
- New overlaying information blurbs on the screen. For example, your monsters's stats are visible at all times during battles.
- On smartphones, the layout mimics that of a Gameboy.
