The Bronze armour is a recurring set of armour in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared in Dragon Quest IV. It is a low to mid-level piece of equipment and offers a decent amount of protection compared to early game pieces of armor. Typically, it can only be equipped by physically stronger characters.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen
The bronze armour has a Defence bonus of +25. It can be equipped by the Hero, Ragnar McRyan, Kiryl, Torneko, Meena, and the last party member. Hardie has this among his equipment (Chain mail in the Nintendo DS Version), as well as Oojam.
It can be purchased for 700 gold coins from Strathbaile, Endor, the Desert Bazaar, Lakanaba, Vrenor, Ballymoral, Bath, and Porthrunnel and can be sold for 525 gold coins. Tessie will sell this for 1,050 at Torneko's shop.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride
The Bronze armour has a Defence bonus of +21 and can be equipped by the Hero, the Hero's son, Harry, and Tuppence, along with various monster companions. It can be purchased from Roundbeck, Coburg, Fortuna during the second generation for 700 gold and sold for 350 gold.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
The Bronze armour has Defence bonus of +21 and a Style bonus of +12. It can be equipped by the Hero, Carver, Nevan, Terry, Amos, and Goowain. The armour can be purchased for 700 gold coins from Somnia, Wellshire, and Amor and sold for 525 gold coins.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The Bronze armour has a Defence bonus of +23 and a Style bonus of +12. It can be purchased in Greenthumb Gardens and Alltrades Abbey for 1,350 gold and sold for 675 gold. The Hero, Kiefer, and Aishe can equip it. Bronze armour can also be dropped by Sharphooters.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
The Bronze armour has a Defence bonus of +24. It can be bought for 840 gold coins in Ascantha and Pickham and sold for 420 gold coins. Only the Hero can equip it. It can also be made in the Alchemy Pot.

The bronze armour is a 1★ set of armour that can be equipped by Hero and Warrior characters. Like in X, the armour is divided into a torso piece and a leg piece. It is a starter set of equipment and can occasionally be acquired from free Treasure Hunts.
