This flying doctor capable of keeping its allies alive through Multiheal. It is irritatingly resistant to debilitating spells in nearly every appearance, making it far from a bird of paradise.

Etymology[edit]

The Elysian Fields refer to the paradise of the ancient Greco-Roman hereafter. It was described by Homer as laying on the extreme western edge of the world.

  • The Elysium bird's original Japanese name Gokurakuchō refers to the Paradisaeidae family of birds, a group of birds found in eastern Australia and Papua New Guinea with brightly colored plumage. They are also known as birds-of-paradise.
