The crabber dabber doo is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in Dragon Quest III.
It is a green variety of the crabid capable of casting spells and is in possession of an insatiable appetite for human flesh.
Characteristics[edit]
Crabber dabber doos are crustaceans that have grown to monstrous proportions with bright green exoskeletons and claws, bulging red eyes, and yellow-green undersides and legs. They constantly have drool trailing from their open maws, giving them a rabid appearance. These crabs have gained the ability to protect themselves and their allies by casting Kabuff, making their outer shells even more impervious to the weapons of adventurers, wearing them out through sheer endurance before bashing them with their claws and getting ready to feast on their flesh.

Description | Cruel crabs who toughen up with Kabuff, then strike with their sizable claws. Not too troubled by earth attacks. Never to full to turn down a feed, the thought of feasting on freshly fallen adventurers sets them salivation salaciously. |

Etymology[edit]
The name Crabber Dabber doo is a parody/homage of Fred Flintstone's catchphrase, "Yabba Dabba doo" from The Flintstones.
