The developers have also included a boss fight in the form of the [[Lumpfather]], one of the [[Children of Hargon]] who participated in the siege of [[Moonbrooke]]. The Pillar of Winds is a tower in Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line.

It is located in central Torland, east of Moonahan.

The Pillar of Winds is the first tower dungeon visited in Dragon Quest II, as well as the first tower in Dragon Quest.

It contains the Windbreaker cloak which is required to advance further in the game. Somewhat difficult to locate, you must head northeast of Moonahan and circle around the shore, heading south.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake

The general layout of the tower remains the same, though the eighth floor has been removed.
