Etymology
- English: The name "Hell niño" is a play on the climate pattern El Niño.
- Japanese: As with Cumaulus and Freezing fog, Heat Gizmo is derived from Gaseous Lifeform Gizmo (ガス状生物ギズモ), a science-fiction story originally known as War with the Gizmos, written by American writer Murray Leinster. It was published in Japan in 1969.
