The Leather armour, also known as the Leather suit, is a recurring suit of armour which is common in the Dragon Quest series. It is light armour which is often equipped near the beginning of various games.

Characteristics

The Leather armour consists of a simple breastplate and faulds made out of brown leather held on the body with belts. This lightweight armour provides a decent amount of protection early in the game and can even be equipped by characters and vocations who cannot wear heavier armour.

Appearances

Dragon Quest

Due to text restrictions in the Game Boy Color remake of Dragon Quest, the leather armour was renamed to Leathr with a symbol for armour next to it. It is known as the Leather suit in the Cell phone versions.
