Effect Permanently raises agility of a single party member.

A seed of agility is an item that permanently raises agility to whoever eats it. It can give off 1-3 agility points. Seeds of agility can be found in treasure chests, pots, drawers, or some enemies may drop them. They cannot be bought at shops.

Due to text limitations in the Game Boy Color, the seed of agility was renamed to AGLseed.

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line[edit]

A Seed of Agility will be found in the Lake Cave's first floor.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]

Seeds of agility are dropped by Weaken Beacons (1/16), Metal Slimes (1/32), Ursa Mega (1/64), Raven Lunatic (1/64), and Armfuls (1/256).

They will also be found in the Dreamer's Tower, Norvik, Asham, the Pyramid, Aliahan castle, Persistence, Manoza, and Tantegel castle.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]

Seeds are found in the Auld Well, Zalenagrad Taborov, the Vault of Vrenor, the desert bazaar, the Imperial Pantry of Parthenia, Burland castle treasury, Con Cave, the Colossus, Mamon Mine and Zenithia.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]

The seeds may be found in the Dwarf's Den, Whealbrook Adit, Zoomingale, the Pass to Gotha, as well as prizes in the Nadirian and Stark Raving Mad TnT boards.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]

Located in Weaver's Peak, Haggleton, Moonmirror Tower, the Underkeep, the Hallowed Hollow, the sunken ship, Felonia, Castle Graceskull, and the Gallows Moor.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]

The seeds are found in the house above the waterfall cave, the Tower of Alexandria, the ship ferrying the party to Pereguin Quay, Ascantha, Chateau Felix, Argonia, Red's home, and the World of Darkness.

They are dropped by metal slimes and liquid metal slimes. They can be sold for 13 Gold Coins.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]

The seeds are carried by killing machines, which are dropped and stolen at a rate of 1/256.

They can also be picked up in Tywll Cave, inside the player's ship, and also given as a reward for completing quest #41 and #57.
