The Dragon's Horns are a pair of towers in Dragon Quest II.

The towers are referred to as the north tower and the south tower respectively, and each tower sits on one side of a massive river in northwest Greater Alefgard. According to a guard encountered at the base of the southern tower, the two towers were once joined together by a bridge, but the bridge collapsed as monsters settled into the tower.[1]

North Tower[edit]

The north tower is an optional dungeon. The only attraction being the celestial skein item which can be found by searching on a specific tile on the 3F, which is necessary for Don Calico to weave a flowing dress.

South Tower[edit]

The south tower is visited by the Scions of Erdrick on their way to Rippleport. However, in order to progress across the river, the cousins must jump off the top floor of the tower while one of them wears the windbraker acquired from the Pillar of Winds. A knight at the tower's summit will explain the effects of the cloak if they haven't acquired it yet. The player must also make sure they are facing the north when leaping off the top of the tower to make it to the other side. Otherwise, leaping on the western side of the tower will make the player land on the southern side of the river, forcing them to climb all the way to the top again. After leaping to the other side of the river, the port town of Rippleport can be found nearby.
