The Prisim Peacock is an advanced monster vocation in Dragon Quest VII.

Description[edit]

The Prism peacock is an anthropomorphic bird monster adept with powerful fire magic and breath attacks. The vocation offers boosts in most categories and drops in none. At rank 8, characters will become immune to Crack and Poof, highly resistant to Sizz, Bang, Zap, Snooze, Fizzle, Drain Magic, Dazzle, poison, and paralysis, and partially resistant to Woosh, Sap, and Fuddle.

Requirements[edit]

In order to become a Prism Peacock, a character must first master both the Gripevine and Dingbat vocations. A Prism Peacock heart can be purchased for 100,000 tokens from the casino at the Grand Slum evolution of the Immigrant Town in the original Sony PlayStation or from the Haven in the Nintendo 3DS version. It can also appear, rarely, from the pairs game at the Casino in Buccanham. Finally, it can be obtained in battle by defeating Peacocks in battle in the Cathedral of Blight at the low rate of 11024.

  • In the Nintendo 3DS version, it is also possible to acquire a Prism peacock heart by creating a custom Traveller's Tablet with a Prism peacock as the boss.
