The Mountains North of Rippleport are a minor location in Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake, where the Children of Hargon preach profanities to the more susceptible townsfolk of Rippleport.

The mountains are where the Twisted Sister and Mummy Deerest have escorted the citizens who have fallen prey to their sermons of hedonism and debauchery. Interestingly, the entire mountain chain seems to be a blasted waste with little to no plant life growing among the rocks and loose soil.
The Scions of Erdrick, having volunteered to break up the cult at the behest of the Mayor of Rippleport and the Port Manager, talk sense into the misled people by articulating the better part of human nature in the face of hardship and by reminding them of the friends and family they've left behind. The crowd disperses upon seeing the light and returns home, prompting the furious cultists to summon two gremlins for backup and engage the trio of royals. Once the devil-worshipers are dispatched, the Scions return to Rippleport and are rewarded with a ship for saving many of the townsfolk, including the Mayor's Daughter.
