Daviyaga the Dark Deity is a character and boss in Dragon Quest X, appearing in Version 5 of the game. He is one of the seven Dark Deities of the Underworld, born from Jagonuba's tyranny.
Appearance[edit]
Daviyaga's physical appearance is similar to that of both Nokturnus and Dhuran, being an incredibly tall and muscular humanoid male with purple skin wearing a sparse outfit reminiscent of those worn by gladiators in the ancient Roman Empire. He has solid white eyes and most of his face is obscured by a black and gold warrior's helmet with a tall red plume. Around his neck, he wears a long midnight blue cape with red lining that reaches down to his feet, with red cords tied around his left shoulder. Daviyaga wears a pair of black briefs covered by a pteruges skirt of black leather with golden designs. He also wears tall black boots, fingerless gloves, and bands around his upper arms all made from black leather with gold studs and embellishments. Daviyaga's swords, the Tyrannical twinblades, is a double-ended blade much like the one wielded by Nokturnus. He is able to split it apart and wield each end in one hand.
