The Dracolyte is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in the original game.
They are magenta-hued variants of the Dracky that are capable of casting simple magic.
Characteristics[edit]
Drackolytes are cartoonish-looking red or magenta-coloured bats with a large pair of wings, round feet, a long thin tail, and a pair of fangs in their constantly-smiling maws. They pose a greater danger than their swarthy brethren, as players are unlikely to have any defence against spells when first encountering them.

Dragon Quest X[edit]
Drackolytes appeared from the beginning of the game, making their first reappearance in the main series since their debut in the original game. They are able to cast Bang, Fizzle, and Drain Magic.
