The Cataract Caves is a waterfall dungeon in Dragon Quest V, which is located to the north of Mostroferrato and Stockenbarrel. The player must venture here to retrieve the Circle of Water for Rodrigo Briscoletti, who offers his personal boat so that the player can enter the dungeon and achieve this task, and thus win over his daughter Nera's hand in marriage. However, the hero must first make an unexpected detour to enter the village of Stockenbarrel to open the gate guarding the waterways to this dungeon, where he encounters a childhood friend for the first time in 15 years...

This is the first dungeon that Bianca can be used in after becoming an adult, but she is very low leveled and weak at this point in the game without any training. However, she has some unique dialogue (applies to all versions) if you have her in your main party for this dungeon, so some players might want to take the time to level her a bit and upgrade her equipment to get through this dungeon using her. Note that a Robe of serenity is found in this dungeon, which is stronger than most of the armor options for Bianca at this point of the game.
