Scorch is a powerful breath attack in the Dragon Quest series that spews forth blazing fire on all enemies.

It deals between 150~170 damage in most of its appearances unless noted otherwise before. It is the penultimate Fire Breath skill, only surpassed in power by Hellfire and Hellitosis.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of SalvationEdit

In remake versions of the game, Scorch is used by Xenlon, as well as Gran Dragon in the GBC version.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the ChosenEdit

Appearing in the PSX, DS, and mobile phone remakes, Scorch is used by some of the new enemies in Chapter 6, including Aamon and Foo Yung.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly BrideEdit

Scorch is learned only by certain monster companions such as the great dragon.
