Strength ring

The Strength ring is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series that first appeared in the Super Famicom remake of Dragon Quest III. It gives a small boost to the wearer's attack power.

CharacteristicsEdit

The ring is a spiked gold band with a red ruby at its center, held in place with a stylized gold loop. It also has a raised blue or purple chain design around the ring's loop.

The Strength ring is an accessory that increases Attack by 7 and changes the wearer's personality to Meathead temporarily. It can be equipped by all vocations. One can be acquired by turning 30 Mini medal to the collector in Aliahan and another can be found in the Tower of Rubiss. It can also be sold for 262 gold coins.

The Strength ring has a Strength bonus of +8 and can be equipped by all characters. One can be received from the Medal King for turning in 15 Mini medals and another can be found in the Fungeon. They can be purchased from the fourth stage of the Pioneer Town for 880 gold and sold for 660 gold.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten PastEdit

The Strength ring has an Attack bonus of +7, a Style bonus of +3, and can be equipped by all characters. One can be found at Wilted Heart. Strength rings can also be received as prizes from the Lucky Panel at any Casino in the present. They can also be dropped by Ginormooses and Mild headaches.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed KingEdit

The Strength ring has an Attack bonus of +5 and can be equipped by all characters. It can be sold for 325 gold. One can be received as a prize for winning Rank G of the Monster Arena and another can be found at Arcadia inside of a dresser. In the Nintendo 3DS version, Morrie joins the party with one equipped. They can be dropped rarely by Muddy hands.

Strength rings can be made in the Alchemy Pot and can be mixed with other items, as well:

The Strength ring boosts attack power-increasing effects such as Oomph by 25%, reaching to a total of 50% once it has been fully upgraded. It will also grant +10 bonuses to attack and max HP when it has been fully upgraded, as well. The strength ring can be obtained by exchanging 20 mini medals once or be dropped by Trolls and Great trolls.

Dragon Quest WalkEdit

The Strength ring is a 2★ accessory with an Attack bonus of +6. It can be received as a reward for defeating Marquis de Léon.

The Strength ring is Treasure No. 225 in the Armour 2 category and can be found on the Wingswept Moors. Its base value is 88,000 gold.
