The Gigantes (ギガンテス Gigantes) is a monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest II.
Characteristics
Defined by strength, the gigantes is a behemoth whose simplistic garb does a poor job of concealing its bulging muscle mass. Though some members of the species can prove to be gentle giants, it is usually encountered in the wild as a dumb brute ready and willing to cave in the skulls of plucky adventurers.
