Benevolessence is a non-collectible item in Dragon Quest IX. It is created by humans who show gratitude for the protection given to them by the Celestrians. It is essential in order to make the Yggdrasil Tree blossom.
Etymology
Benevolessence seems to be a portmanteau of Benevolence and Essence.
